Hi. I'm trying to monitor a websphere server with SAM in SilkPerformer 15.5 I've already configured java path in Settings System... Java Java Home C:\Program Files (x86)\Silk\Silk Performer 15.5\Jre And in Settings Active Profile Java Java Home C:\Program Files (x86)\Silk\Silk Performer 15.5\Jre When I click in "Check JVM" button, I get the following message: "The Java Virtual Machine Settings are OK!" However, when I run the script and go to Results window add data source Select from predefined Data Sources Application Server IBM Websphere Application Server IBM WebSphere 8.0 (JMX MBeanServer) , I get the following message: "Unable to create Java VM". I've double checked the websphere server and it accepts my remote connection. I've tried the steps from http://community.microfocus.com/borland/test/silk_performer_-_application_performance_testing/w/knowledge_base/8039.when-attempting-to-monitor-using-jmx-why-do-i-see-the-error-unable-to-create-java-vm-and-how-do-i-resolve-this.aspx but it didn't update the jmx-config.xml file. In the console, I could see it didn't even have that file listed to be updated. What am I missing? Thanks in advance, Cindy.
