Hi Alpha, If there’s a GUI to interact with you could probably hook it with SilkPerformer to capture the traffic at protocol level. In regards to the supported protocols there are many protocols supported out of the box with Silk Performer – if you take a look at the available project types when setting up a project, or the list of tested software in the Release Notes they should give you a good overview. If it’s not clear from this you can update the post with details on the protocol used for communication by your application. If it’s a FAT client then the best approach would be GUI-Level testing. That would require Silk Test (our functional testing tool) to be able to get object recognition on the client. You can then record scripts in Silk Test, and use Silk Performer to replay them in multiple Terminal Server sessions. Of course, if protocol level is not possible there are also additional options for testing such as Java or .Net Frameworks approach, or DLL integration. Further information on these approaches can be found here: http://community.microfocus.com/borland/test/silk_performer_-_application_performance_testing/w/knowledge_base/19171.loadtesting-an-application-if-i-am-unable-to-record-at-the-protocol-level.aspx I hope this helps.
