This error may be displayed when initially connecting to the Mainframe server during a Terminal Emulation recording in Silk Performer using Rumba as the client. If this error is reported, the connection to the server will be unsuccessful and the user will remain ‘Disconnected’. For a successful connection and resolution of the error, go through the following steps. When configuring a Terminal Emulation Project to record Mainframe in Rumba, two Application Profiles are created: RumbaPage.exe - C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro Focus\RUMBA\system\RumbaPage.Exe WdDspPag.exe – C:\Program Files (x86)\Micro Focus\RUMBA\system\WdDspPag.Exe Within each of the Application Profiles – "SILK PERFORMER | SETTINGS | SYSTEM | RECORDER | APPLICATION PROFILES | (PROFILE) | EDIT", there is a "Web Settings" button. Select this and check the ‘Exclude local traffic’ option. Once the ‘Exclude local traffic’ option has been enabled, try another recording, the TCP error should no longer appear, leading to a successful connection to the Mainframe Server.
