The ability to record 64-bit applications out of the box was added in Silk Performer 16.0. In previous Silk Performer versions (before Silk Performer 16.0), the recorder was unable to hook the additional memory spaces used by the functional calls of a 64-bit application during standard protocol recording. If using an earlier version the only way to record 64-bit applications is if the application can be configured to use a proxy, then Silk Performer would be able to capture the traffic via Proxy Recording. For more information on how to do this please see " How can I test my client/server application if the client is installed on a non-Windows operating system? ". Incident #586845 Old KB# 35368
