There is a known issue within Silk Performer whilst using the Customize Value | Parameter Wizard option in order to customize json data in the dclform section of a .bdf script. When selecting a single section of the string data to be customized (refer to the image above which shows the 'Enter Transactional Business Unit' selected for customization), the Wizard by default will select the entire String to customize rather than the pre-highlighted section, thus leading to the following: This is a known issue within Silk Performer and will be addressed with the release of Silk Performer 16.5. A workaround to the problem in the meantime would be to manually edit the original string data in the dclform section - concatenating the created variable to the rest of the data like so:
