Why might I encounter a "PerfLm: 9. Not enough licenses for checkout are available" error when trying to run a load test in SilkPerformer? This error will occur for one of two reasons: (a) you are trying to run a load test with more virtual users than you are licensed for - you can confirm the actual number you are licensed for by checking the "Virtual Users" count via: HELP | ABOUT SILKPERFORMER (b) you are trying run a load test without having imported a valid SilkPerformer .pol license file into SilkMeter. By default, SilkPerformer versions 2006, 2006 R2 and 2007 will allow you to execute one virtual user for demo purposes without a .pol license in place. To resolve this issue, be sure to import your license file into SilkMeter. (c) you are attempting to run a script which includes code from add-ons you are not licensed to use. For example if your script has Java code which needs to be executed by the Java Add-on and you are not licensed for the Java Add-on you will receive this error. For a list of the virtual user types and what applications they can test please see the SilkPerformer release notes. Old KB# 17052
