There is a known issue that in very rare cases there is an incompatibility between the network driver on the machine and Silk Performer's Network Emulation driver. So far this has only been observed on Windows 2008 R2 machines. Where this issue is observed Silk Performer should be reinstalled without the Network Emulation driver. If the driver is required different machines should be used. In Silk Performer 16.0 the option to install the driver was the default option. This has changed for Silk Performer 16.5, and the option not to install the Network Emulation driver is selected by default.
