If the above mentioned registry key has additional entries other than qaphooks.dll the SilkPerformer recorder will display the error below and you will not be able to proceed with recording a test script. However, some third party applications also write to this registry key, and as a result of this the SilkPerformer recorder cannot function correctly. Simply removing the value from the registry key may not be an option due to the potential corrupting of the other product.
