This can occur when the existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. This normally happens if the peer application on the remote host is suddenly stopped, the host is rebooted, or the remote host used a "hard close". If the error occurs during a test it is possible that the server closed the connection abruptly because of performance degradation and you should therefore investigate the server performance during this time by monitoring it.
