// Error(Can"t start JVM v1.1, reason: Unable to initialize threads: cannot find class java/lang/Thread , java home // "C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator 1.1.8.16\", jvm-dll = "javai.dll", last error = 3) This error will usually be seen in a script that has no Oracle Forms functions (e.g. OraFormsInit), instead the script will contain only web functions. It will occur if a user has set the Oracle Java Runtime (JInitiator) as the Java Home, or has set an older Java Version. It is recommended to install the latest Java JDK version. Please note that the recorded application (usually an Applet running in the browser) will use it's native JInitiator version, the Java VM configured in SilkPerformer runs invisibility within the PerfRec.exe (SilkPerformer's Recorder Process). When configuring your Java Home environment in SilkPerformer this can be done either system-wide using the System Settings dialog, or it can be done on a per-project-basis using the Active Profile Java settings dialog. To specify the System Java Home a user should go to: SETTINGS | SYSTEM | JAVA | GENERAL | JAVA HOME
