The GMO2 sample application uses a perl executable to place the order. IIS by default does not include the perl .pl extension in its application mappings, so it needs to be added. If this is not added a user trying to place an order will receive the following error when the application calls the extension: An extension can be added by going to Start | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Internet Information Services | HOST NAME (Local Computer) | Default Website. Expand the list of websites and right click on the GMO2 option and choose Properties | Directory. Before clicking on the Configuration button ensure that the Execute Permissions option is set to "Scripts and Executables". After clicking on the Configuration button add a new mapping in the next screen to the perl.exe executable in the following folder - C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\GMO2\cgi-bin\, then click OK. The new mapping should now be listed as shown: Once this is done it is necessary to restart the IIS services for the new settings to take effect. It should now be possible to check out items from the GMO2 application. For further help or information please contact Support.
