To solve the problem follow the steps below: Go to the Xerox download page and download a piece of client software called the DocuShare Windows Client, DSCLIENT.EXE. Once this is installed it creates some extra functionality within Windows Explorer which allows a shared folder to be mapped to the DocuShare server. When this Client software is installed create an Application Profile in SilkPerformer to the following file C:\PROGRAM FILES\XEROX\DSCLIENT\DSAXESS.EXE Set the Application Profile to use Winsock"s and save the profile. Ensure that this is the only Application Profile selected and close the System Settings dialog box. Open the Recorder from the Record option on the SilkPerformer Menu Open Windows Explorer and drag some files to the DocuShare folder. You should now see functions being recorded. Background information on the product: DocuShare lets team members use a corporate intranet or extranet to set up a virtual information-sharing environment. Here, users can easily post, retrieve and search for information that resides in familiar nested folders. And they can adapt DocuShare to suit the specific needs of any workgroup or project. DocuShare gives instant and controlled access to information. Read and write permission rights are granted and maintained by the workgroup itself. There"s no need for a Webmaster to convert documents to HTML or PDF before posting or updating information. And users can see at a glance which documents are new and revised. Accessing the Application: The application can be used through a web browser and through Windows Explorer for bulk file transferring and deleting.
