This is a limitation of the third party software (Centura Report Builder) that SilkPerformer uses in the Reporter. To fix the problem you need to: Install the printer drivers for the network printer you want to use but set it up as if it where attached to your machine. Delete the network printer. Open a DOS box and redirect the local printer port to the network printer. Installing the local printer Click START | SETINGS | PRINTERS | ADD PRINTER Click Next. Make sure Local printer is selected and click next. Make sure the printer uses the LPT1: Printer Port and Click next. Select the printer you want to install the drivers for and click next. Accept the default of Keep existing driver by clicking next. Type in the printer name if required and click next. Leave default option of Do Not Share This Printer by clicking next Do not print a test page, click next Then click finish Deleting the network printer Click START | SETINGS | PRINTERS | ADD PRINTER Highlight the network printer and hit the delete key Accept confirmation of deletion Redirecting LPT1: to the Network Printer Click START | RUN Type "cmd" without the quotes and hit enter. Type the following command: Net Use LPT1 \\\ and hit enter, you should be alerted that the command has completed successfully, then type exit and hit enter. You should now be able to print from all applications including the Results Repository to your network printer. Please note however that this command will need to be issued everytime you reboot your PC to enable you to print. To do this automatically save the net use command in a DOS batch file (eg printer.bat) using notepad and put it in your windows startup folder.
