This warning message can occur because the user you have logged into Windows does not have Administrative privileges. If a user attempts to continue to use SilkPerformer, for example by pressing the " START HERE " button on the Workflow bar and attempt to create a new SilkPerformer Project file the following error will occur: Please log into Windows as a user who has full local Administrative Privileges. Another possible reason why users may see the warning "Caution! The picture files for the HTML reports could not be copied to their target location.." is if one or more projects contains an Include folder located under a directory other than the Working directory. The SilkPerformer include folder should be located in C:\Program Files\Borland\SilkPerformer 2008 R2\Working for example. If for some reason it has been moved or created in C:\Program Files\Borland\SilkPerformer 2008 R2\Working\Projects\SampleProject, the warning message will be displayed when SilkPerformer is started. To resolve this issue, move the Include folder back to the Working directory. NOTE: Since the release of SilkPerformer 9.0, SilkPerformer is fully compliant with Microsoft User Account Control (UAC) guidelines. It has been designed such that it does not require administrative privileges to operate, although it is still required for installation. The System Configuration Manager, due to its system administration functions, does require elevation into administrator mode in accordance with UAC guidelines. Old KB# 18396
