W hen monitoring the JMX protocol from a Windows 2003 operating system, Performance Explorer may close without warning. No error is thrown to the user and nothing is displayed on the screen. PerfExp.exe no longer runs after the crash and will not appear in the list of Task Manager processes. The Application Event viewer may also display an error similar to: "The application "C:\Program Files\Borland\Silk Performer 2008\PerfExp.exe" caused a program error. Date and time of the error: 29.05.2008 at 08:43:39.859 Exception: c0000005 to address 77E2A309 (USER32!DrawFocusRect)" This issue is only known to occur on the Windows 2003 operating system.
