TrueLog Explorer’s feature set varies based on the protocol of the loaded TrueLog (e.g., the Form Data tab is only available when a Web TrueLog is loaded; a Roundtrips option is available on the Step through TrueLog dialog only when an SAPGUI TrueLog is loaded; a Stable Screen option is available on the Step through TrueLog dialog only when a terminal emulation TrueLog is loaded). To select an alternate protocol-based feature set : Select TrueLog Type from the Edit menu. Select the feature set you wish to have reflected in TrueLog Explorer’s features [Web (default), Database, Oracle Forms, Citrix, SAPGUI, or Terminal Emulation] Note Because Oracle Forms is a mixed protocol that often incorporates Web calls in its scripts, you may wish to select the Web based protocol feature set to customize session handling, parse values out of HTML, and run searches on the HTML included in Oracle Forms scripts The default view when opening any TrueLog in TrueLog Explorer depends on the TrueLog type. This type is set according to the project type by default and within the xml representation of the TrueLog file in the tags called and the parameter called interfaces: buildInfo="Generated with SilkPerformer 7.7" perspective="TruelogExplorer" interfaces="WEB_BASIC, WEB_PAGELEVEL_SIMPLE, WEB_PAGELEVEL, ORAFORMS" In this case, a TrueLog for an Oracle Forms script contains both Oracle Forms and Web interfaces and therefore it is useful to switch views using the edit menu when further detail is required.
