This error indicates that the script you are attempting to replay has a codepage which is different from the system codepage of the machine you are replaying on. Since SilkPerformer 2007 introduced multibyte character set support for testing encoded web applications, the recorder scripts the @codepage annotation into the script along with the currently active system codepage. Whenever this annotation is present in a script the SilkPerformer runtime system checks to see if the system codepage of the machine matches the one specified in the script. If they do not match the runtime stops and the above error message is displayed. To resolve change the system codepage of the agent machine by following the steps below: Go to START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL | REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS | REGIONAL OPTIONS tab and specify information in the Standards and formats box and in the Location box to match the target language and country. On the ADVANCED tab, specify settings in the Language for non-Unicode programs boxes to match the target language. You might need to insert the operating system CD to install the necessary files. If you already have the files installed, the system prompts you to use the existing files. You must then reboot the system otherwise, the new system code page won't be effective. This issue can occur when using WAN agents in different countries which are likely to have different system codepages. For example, running a test with the SilkPerformer MMC in Europe (usually codepage 1252) with a WAN agent in Tokyo (usually 932). It can also occur when receiving test scripts from colleagues whose system (the record system) has a different codepage from the one the script will be run on (the replay system).
