After recording a Silk Performer script in SilkTest and saving with a .bdf extension, when attempting to open it in Silk Performer you may see the following Silk Performer message: This error occurs because the script file is locked by SilkTest. Closing SilkTest before attempting to open the script in Silk Performer will resolve the issue. Alternative workaround: If it is inconvenient to close SilkTest then you can open the .bdf script file in Notepad and copy & paste the contents into a blank Silk Performer script. Old KB# 17958
